Tomorrow Virginia holds its primaries. This is the first time in a long time that, you know, our area's votes actually count for something, so please take the time to go do your civic duty. And if you're looking for extra credit, check out your county's specific other issues and local elections, do a little research, and add your voice for civic pride.

Where do I find out about those things? That are... not as often covered by the press and are referred to on ballots by strange code names like HR 455 or whatever. I'm not that new to voting, but I am new all the same, seeing as I've only had 1 election to participate in before now.
I'm not a native, but here's some resources. Of course, a lot should depend on which county you are registered in. It doesn't appear that tomorrow's primary is for anything other than presidential candidate by party, but I might be missing something.

* According to this site
, you won't be picking a senator tomorrow. (Oh, and page down to the Links

Heh. I was going to post something like this here.
I feel like absolute crap, but I would have them wheel me out on a gurney from the hospital before I missed this primary.
Mind you, that's how I feel about most elections.
